View Melting of Greenland Ice Cap on Webcam. Ilulissat Glacier in Greenland is melting at an alarming pace due to global warming. You can view the present status of Ilulissat Glacier through the webcam set up by Sermitsiaq. 110,000 years old ice cap now moves at a speed of 22 metres per day and the size of the ice disintegrating is to the extent of 1000 metres in height and several hundred metres wide.
