  • This past summer, we installed three live falcon web cams to the downtown Toronto, Etobicoke, and Hamilton peregrine nest sites. In the spring of 1999, we will be installing yet another live video camera to our nations capital in Ottawa and will be monitoring the Ottawa peregrine nest site. The "live images" were, and will be once again brought to the CPF web site for both local and global review, in addition to the three falcon watch centers that displayed the live pictures from the camera to color TV's located on the ground floor at each nest site, for the public to come in to look and ask questions. Each falcon watch center was staffed and manned for a period of three to five months, open from 9am to 5pm, and had over 40,000. visitors come in to the three centers over the summer. We have continued to maintain and update our web site to this day with new pictures, daily observations, and peregrine falcon "news" from around the globe. We are a Reg'd Canadian Charity here in Canada, and have a small office here in Toronto. Please consider us for a link to /from your web site, as this past summer we had over 600,000. hits to our peregrine pages from 67 countries (all with in a five month period).
