Each turbine is capable of producing 1.5 megawatts for a total of 7.5 megawatts, enough energy to power approximately 2,500 homes. When operating at design wind conditions, the energy will be used to operate the ACUA waste water treatment plant, with any excess energy provided to the main power grid.
