<p>In Hawaii, the tsunami reached a maximum height of  45 feet. The disaster killed 159 people and caused 26 million (1946) dollars.</p>
<p>The Hilo tsunami webcam shows a live video stream of Hilo Bay from the rooftop of the Pacific Tsunami Museum.</p>
